aceweb.ai is operated by Aceweb Solutions SRL (“we”, “us”, or “our”), based in Romania.

• Payment and billing information, processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and abuse

Legal Bases for Processing

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Contract — to provide the service, manage accounts, process payments, and deliver AI features.
• Consent — where required, such as for optional communications or future non-essential tracking.
• Legitimate interests — to improve the product, prevent abuse, secure the service, and understand aggregate usage.
• Legal obligation — where we need to retain records for tax, accounting, or compliance purposes.

AI and Data Processing

Our service uses artificial intelligence to help you plan and develop your projects. When you use our AI features:

• Your project data is processed by our AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) to generate suggestions and content
• We do not use your project data to train AI models. Where supported by our AI providers, we use API settings intended to prevent your inputs and outputs from being used to train their models.
• AI-generated content is stored as part of your project data

Cookies and Analytics

We only use essential cookies — the ones strictly required to run the service:

• Keep you logged in to your account
• Remember your preferences and settings
• Protect against fraud and abuse (security)

To understand how the product is used, we run privacy-friendly product analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) in a cookieless mode — it does not store cookies or other identifiers on your device, and measurement is kept to a single visit. Because we set no non-essential cookies, we don't show a cookie consent banner. If we later introduce advertising or cross-visit tracking, we'll ask for your consent first.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure password hashing
• Regular security assessments
• Access controls and authentication

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from your account settings when signed in, or by contacting us.

If you use the product without creating an account, the ideas and content you generate are deleted after 72 hours of inactivity. We keep only aggregate, de-identified usage statistics — such as request counts and processing costs, with no idea content — for analytics and abuse prevention. Any IP address associated with anonymous use is retained briefly to detect abuse and is then reduced to an irreversible hash.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access to your personal information
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your data
• Data portability
• Objection to processing

When you're signed in, you can act on most of these directly: export a full copy of your data — account, projects, and usage — from Settings → Your data, and delete your account and its data from your account settings. For any other data request, email us at hello@aceweb.ai.

If you are in the EU/EEA and believe we have not handled your personal data lawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. As we are based in Romania, the relevant authority for us is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform:

• Stripe - Payment processing
• Anthropic/OpenAI - AI services
• Cloudflare - Security and performance
• PostHog (EU) - Cookieless product analytics (events may be routed through a reverse proxy on our own domain, served by Cloudflare)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing its use of your information.

International Data Transfers

We are based in the EU (Romania) and our product analytics are hosted in the EU. Some of the providers above — including our AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI), payment processing (Stripe), and security/performance (Cloudflare) — may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States.

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under the GDPR — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision — to protect it. We are in the process of completing data processing agreements incorporating these Standard Contractual Clauses with our providers. Children's Privacy

aceweb.ai is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
